St. Paul Lutheren Church & School

Sunday Services

Since the onset of the COVID-related precautions pertaining to restrictions on safe physical-distancing, we have combined our previous two worship services each Sunday morning into one service.  This single service is held at 10 AM each week – both safely in-person in the Sanctuary as-well-as online via Facebook Live (www.facebook.com/friendsofsplcs).  Most generally, the service is a comfortable blend of the traditional liturgy together with some of the music led by our Praise Team.  Please check back occasionally to see if we’ve made the move back to two separate Sunday morning services.

Prior to the worship service, at 8:45 AM, there are Sunday School and Bible Classes for all ages.

Communion is celebrated at both services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, as-well-as at other special holiday services throughout the year. We believe that the Sacrament of the Altar is the body and blood of our Lord Jesus, present in the bread and wine, for Christians to eat and drink, instituted by Christ Himself. As we commune together, witness is also given that we are united in the faith. Accordingly, our brother and sister Lutherans are welcome to join us at the altar; and we ask that our non-Lutheran guests, before communing for the first time, speak briefly with our pastor.
