Holiday Services

During the season of Lent, we also gather for special worship services on Wednesday evenings — and services are always held on the special holidays of the church year. The evening services for Lent and Holy Week are held at 7 PM, as are both Thanksgiving Eve and New Year's Eve. Christmas Eve services this year are at 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. These special services each include the celebration of the Lord's Supper, as do our Sunday services on the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays of the month (together with Easter, Pentecost and Reformation).

Our School classes hold a variety of worship services prior to Christmas — the largest of which is led by our Kindergarten thru 8^th Grade students in the Sanctuary on the Tuesday evening (7 PM) prior to the Christmas vacation from school. The other services are held by our Pre-Kindergarten students in their classrooms in the earlier weeks of December — contact the School Office (913 682-5553) for more information on their schedule.
